Top performance is required by today’s companies. Sought after are executives displaying power and leadership, with the ability to communicate and use symbols. Engaged employees prepared to deliver peak performance are also important.

No company can remain profitable and ahead of the competition in the global marketplace without first-rate entrepreneurial performance. To accomplish this over years, management (executives and the Board of Directors) needs significant energy.

Approaching megatrends need to be sensed. These often-occurring challenging upheavals can then be better understood. Executives need to anticipate the relevant markets. Wide perspective and courage are necessary to look beyond the trees. One cannot delegate this “early detection of trends” to a “business development” department. The fluctuating Euro, economic crisis, trade barriers etc. require upper level executive energy and endurance. Top performance necessitates drive.

Personal and operational superiority ask for constant renewal of what is offered and the quality of services provided. Approaches using the old-fashioned “zero base budgeting” and other methods are to be used, as well as Total Quality Management (TQM) and the Six Sigma Certification.
